Good Crowds, Good Surprise

It could be argued that Tulsa's current run in the College Basketball Invitational has brought out the most enthusiastic crowds for Golden Hurricane basketball in five years.
Without the CBI, TU's season would have ended two weeks ago in the Conference USA finals.
Certainly, Tulsa was not even close to the NCAA Tournament and not on the radar of the NIT.
This is a second chance and Tulsa has made the most of it. As a result, just as predicted by some, the crowds are back for Tulsa basketball.
If you win games, fans will return.
Tulsa fans have made it clear. They want a return to the college basketball main stage.
The CBI is a sideshow but it has TU back on the marquee.
And, it could help relaunch Tulsa basketball onto the national scene.

Yes, there will be TV. Two and a Half Men are on at 8......Oh, are you talking about the "GAME"? Yes, if you have Direct TV and some never heard of Fox channel. Fox Southwest has the option to air it, so wait and see about that.

CBI Championship Game 1 may have been rough to watch on TV, but there's no doubt that the crowd is back at the Reynolds Center. Hope we can win it on the road, but if not one can only imagine how the Reynolds Center will rock for a game three. Good luck TU!!!
