Two signs you are about to become rich and famous:
1, You make the cover of a video game, and
2, People care what your favorite sandwich is...
This is the life of former Oklahoma Sooner Blake Griffin. He'll become the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft Thursday night. Until then, he gets to spend a day hobnobbing at ESPN (Monday), and his representatives get to announce a couple endorsement deals.
According to USA Today, EA Sports will splash Griffin on the cover of its NCAA Basketball 10 video game. Cha-ching.
Also, Subway, which once signed Happy Gilmore to a deal, will try the real-life route with Griffin.
Tony Pace, Subway's chief marketing officer, declared Griffin's favorite sub to be "our oven-roasted chicken breast on wheat bread with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, oil and vinegar."
