Hardcore Bass Fishing Fans

Itr would be hard to top the dedication of bass fishing fans that showed up, and unbelievably, stayed for the weigh-in of the Sooner Run, a Bassmaster Elite Series fshing tournament at Grand Lake.
On Sunday, several thousand fans braved torrential rains that soaked the location for the weigh-in just north of Grove.
They didn't just brave it. They actually stayed.
The location for the weigh-in was at a housing development just north of Grove on Grand Lake.
It had already been soaked by rain for three days.
So, when the rains came in buckets on Sunday, it had no where to go. Soaked fans stood in several inches of rain in a muddy field on the banks of the lake.
The fishermen came across the stage, a winner was announced, and everyone headed to the first dry place they could find - the inside of their cars.
If the Bassmaster Elite Series is smart, it'll get back to Grand Lake as soon as possible. It is hard to imagine more dedicated fishing fans than the several thousand that wouldn't leave until Kevin VanDam got the big trophy and $100,000 check.
