Heisman hype for Jones and Broyles

Clay Horning doesn't think so much of Landry Jones' Heisman candidacy. The Norman Transcript columnist believes Ryan Broyles is the right Sooner for the trophy, writing: "If you want to campaign in advance, get behind the right guy. Get behind Broyles. Get behind OU's best player."
Interesting.
Just not quite enough to slow Jones' offseason tidal wave of momentum.
Thursday morning, Jason White guest-hosted at Adrian Peterson's camp. Someone asked him about Jones' name being connected to the trophy White once won. His answer:
"Landry came a long way last year. To be in that talk, I don't doubt it at all. It takes a lot to get there. I think Landry's got the tools to do it. He's got the team to do it. It's just a matter of everything falling into place and his working hard."
Being that White and Horning both own Heisman votes, let's update the early scoreboard to read: Broyles 1, Jones 1. An upset brewing?
Not quite, huh.
Clay is an old friend, but I assume you'll find that White's endorsement carries a tad more weight.
