Hey, ORU won at Kansas

Pitt is good. Really good.
But the Panthers probably aren't as good as Kansas when the Jayhawks play at home.
Oral Roberts won at Kansas. The Golden Eagles shot fantastic against KU and won that game up there a year ago.
Pitt is a huge hurdle for ORU in Thursday's opening round NCAA Tournament game at Denver's Pepsi Center.
And, it would be a shocker if ORU won.
But never say never.
Pitt is known for physical toughness and defense. The Panthers don't normally score a lot of points.
So, the chances for ORU are pretty simple. The Eagles have to shoot great and hope Pitt is off a little bit.
That's a longshot at best but stranger things have happened.
And, ORU has nothing to lose. If the Eagles lose, they were supposed to lose.
So, there's no reason for ORU, an experienced team, to be uptight. This is its third straight trip to the NCAAs.
Go out and have fun. You never know when lightining might strike.

So long ORU, thanks for playing. lol

Your logic is flawless. I think ORU should put "We Beat Kansas" on their jerseys to intimidate the opponent.

ORU is a good program, but lets be serious and not homer out! I knew soon as they were in the field we would hear the Tulsa media try to sale us on how ORU was going to win in the first round before they drew Pitt of all teams. I hate when the local media does that ORU plays in the Summit league, its a low major league, a one bid league. I have to say that win at KU was a one in a blue moon type thing and overrated Bill Self helped matters. I got tired of the ORU at large bid talk before the Creighton game and now I am kinda glad in a way that ORU got beat so we would stop this madness about anyone from the Summit winning a NCAA game. I have nothing against ORU just the local homers telling me they should be an at large (pre-last season losses) and winning as a 13 seed in the 1st round when they had such a small chance playing in Denver, Africa or on Mars. No offense to ORU or their following.
