Home Sweet Home in NBA Finals

Los Angeles shot just 10 free throws in Game 2 of tne NBA Finals. It shot 34 in Game 3.
Welcome home, Lakers.
In what is becoming the most evident trend in the NBA Finals, home is where its at for Boston and Los Angeles.
Boston won twice at home. Now, Los Angeles is at home and won Game 3. Expect more of the same in games 4 and 5.
The Lakers will probably continue to have a huge edge in free throws and in winning games as long as the series remains at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
Some would argue that Los Angeles gained a big boost in free throws because it got more aggressive.
That's true. But the Lakers are more aggressive because they are at home and know the calls will come their way.
It is the same way for the Celtics.
This is not shocking. Basketball is a sport, because of the number of fouls that can be called, that is often decided by officiating.
It is only natural. At home, the calls come your way.
Boston will need a big off night from the Lakers and Paul Pierce has to regain his touch if the Celtics want to steal one in Los Angeles.
