OSU and TU play a basketball game and so few even notice?

It's not even on TV?

What happened around here?

Where have all the great recruits gone? Where have the good ones gone?

Is ORU, playing in the Outer Space Conference, the state's best chance to make it to the NCAA tournament?

What's a fan to do, adopt Kansas?

Really? They're playing each other? I did not know that. Looking forward to seeing Shea Seals and Richard Dumas. They still play right?

DBo, perfect response.

No one cares about college basketball anymore...it has become more boring than college baseball.

TU dumped BB after Bill Self left. Not sure what they're doing over there but you'll see better play watching a pickup game at your local rec center.

I said it at the time and I'll say it again, John Phillips set the TU program back 15 years. As it turns out, I may be wrong, Phillips probably killed the program for good.

I would tune in to watch vintage Richard Dumas and Shea Seals play one-on-one at a rec center. That would be fun to watch!

I think we're giving college basketball in this state too much credit by suggesting that games should be televised. It hasn't quite reached the level of high school football just yet.

Thank god we have the Thunder...

Several of my fellow and mutual fans of OU, OSU and TU while sitting together and watching the NCAA tourney at the BOK in Tulsa last spring came to the joint realization that our state teams might not ever be back to their 1980's and 1990's form. And the recent conference re-alignment based solely on football makes that realization almost a certainty. Look what almost happen to Kansas. I know I am not alone with regard to TU to accept the company line that 20 wins against nobodies is acceptable for this storied program.

I really don't get too disappointed that TU isn't televised that often. I watch paint dry and get the same effect.
But What Do I Know? (last year)
I think it's time to get over Phillips. Just like Tubby turned the program around a good coach can do it again. Nolan had his 40 minutes of hell. Wonk has his 20 points a half. Now that's hell.

Sorry - Wojo. New texter

You're right...Woj must go!

Somebody said Wojo has four more years on his contract and that TU is not willing to buy it out.

So.

I like Wonk better than Wojo.... Using the nickname Wojo for the TU coach is an insult to Barney Miller fans everywhere....

The TU administration has reached their goal for basketball, nice little arena that's not too loud & rowdy, student section pushed off to the baseline out of the way of napping bluebloods, a team that doesn't suck all that bad & they can promote improvement year after year, even if it ain't true because now one really pays attention anyway....

For the TU admin, it's cool, it's OK, what do you expect, it's just TU, no reason to get over-excited.... That Bill Self, Tubby Smith, & Nolan crap just made everyone have to work harder, no need for all that, it's TU, the nice little school over on 11th St by the QuikTrip....

I think Wojo can coach, just doesnt have the horses to win, he's won 20 or more games 4 of his 6 years. That movie "Blue Chip" comes to mind about fans, when Nolte got fed up, and mentioned about a team, that played thier guts out, but thats not Good enough! Its frustrating thier not making the big dance, its all about finding a few top players, maybe they'l get hot in conference torny, and get in the big dance. Go canes!
