Hooray for Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City will get an NBA franchise starting play next season.
As always, anything that is good for Oklahoma City is good for Tulsa and vice versa. So, it is great news for all Oklahomans.
Anything that brings positive attention to our state, especially in my line of work (sports), I'm all for.
Certainly, eight major golf championships were great for the state although all eight have been held in Tulsa.
And, when the nation's eyes are focused on a big football game in Norman, Stillwater or Tulsa, it is good for all of us.
So, this is great news. Hopefully, Oklahoma City officials are serrious about including Tulsa in making this NBA deal work in our state.
if so, then it'll be a big success. And, that can be nothing but good news for all of us.

Actually the 1935 PGA Championship was held at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club in OKC and the 1988 PGA Championship was held at Oak Tree in Edmond.
