Horrific, Horrendous, Pitiful Loss

Imagine the NCAA Secret Society meeting in an underground vault to select teams for the men's basketball tournament.

"What about Tulsa?"

"Nah. Tulsa lost to Nebraska on a neutral court."

"You sure?"

"That's impossible."

"He's right. Here's the box score. Back in December. The center only got eight shots. Nebraska won by four."

"Toss Tulsa to the sissy leftover tournament. Who's next?"

That could have been as bad a loss as can be imagined. Home court wins are naturally watered down. Neutral court contests should mean everything.

Players make plays.

TU needs to win its tournament here. Or hope Nebraska is good. Very good.

Mr. Picker, I would like to wish you and your fans a very Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year.  May those bloggers who can't find anything good to say about anyone, and especially the other bloggers, develop more effective ways to display their inurbanity.

It's even worse than that tonight (Wednesday).  TU just lost to 7-5 Nevada by 31.

Please tell me this is Coach W's last season here...I dont want to hear anything about how many 20 win seasons he has. Any coach could win 20 games with the schedule he puts together. The OSU win this year was the best win in his too long of a career here at Tulsa

If Tulsa doesn't make the NCAA's and be at least competitive in their game(s) then Wojick needs to go.

He's had plenty of time to get the players he wants for his system, they seem to have talent, if they can't get over the hump this year then. . bu-bye.

In the first Vegas game, the TU center, who is supposed to be a prospect for the NBA, took eight shots. In the 30-point loss, he took five shots.

What the.....?

something ain't working, big time. No, if they miss the Conf. USA title this year with the best he could assemble he should go. Those two losses were just ridiculous, Obviously he's being outcoached if he can't figure out how to get the ball to the big guy.

Mr. Picker,
You figured TU would get the ball to Jerome Jordan more often. However, it was the defense that lost these games for TU, especially against Nevada. If you want a chance to beat quality opponents, you have to play with effort on the defensive end.
