How did I miss Hartley?

First of all, crazy props to Jeff Frank, contributing editor of The Sports Network. Not because he picked Oklahoma over Texas in the Big 12 South, but because he listed Sooner kicker Garrett Hartley as one of the reasons why.
Here's a dude who went 19-of-20 on field goals last year and almost won the Groza Award. Now he's muscling up even more, based on the back-to-back 57- and 61-yard home runs he hit during Saturday's scrimmage.
Heard about Hartley's blasts, did you? Well, I'm the only one who apparently didn't. I filed a 600-word scrimmage report and completely left out the one player who actually had Bob Stoops applauding.
Worse, I had an eagle's-eye view of the kicks from the press box. Guess it shows when a guy misses a field goal once a year, he gets a little taken for granted.
Especially when you're consumed not by the right foot of OU's kicker, but the three right arms of OU's quarterbacks.
