I Volunteer to Drive Big 12 Train

Oklahoma President David Boren said no one, not even Texas, is driving the train in the Big 12.
That seems like a problem. So, I’d like to volunteer to drive it.
Here’s my first stop. College Station. Beg the Aggies to stay. Sure, they completely overvalue themselves and they are completely paranoid about Texas.
However, admit it. You’ll miss them when they are gone. Plus, the Big 12 needs them. You need at least one school that feels superior to everyone but really isn’t.
Second stop would be Lincoln. Beg the Cornhuskers to come back.
No matter how much you hated making that drive, at least it was just a drive. You couldn’t get a decent air fare to Lincoln for anything. So, the trip from Tulsa to Lincoln was timed down to the minute for bathroom stops.
Plus, no matter what you thought of the Huskers, they had five national championships. Last time I checked, that’s more than Texas.
Then, go to Colorado and don’t beg them. Just tell them to get back in line, take their beatings from all of the league members and be happy about it.
While we’re on the tracks, stop by Fayetteville and tell the Razorbacks to get a grip on reality. They belong in the Big 12 and know it. They just don’t want to admit it.
And, finally, the train pulls into Austin. Quit being such a jerk. Work with folks. See if you can play with your friends and be a good neighbor.
Okay. Everything is fixed.

Yes...Arkansas should admit that they belong in a conference with less money, less stability, and less competition than the SEC.

Arkansas should travel to the Longhorns athletic office (aka Big 12 headquarters) and ask to be readmitted the UT +8 conference.
