Landry Jones' mustache remains a scalding-hot topic. Here's the latest:
On whether Jones has checked into patenting those Fear the Stache T-shirts Oklahoma students are wearing to games: "No, I'm gonna leave that to the students. Whatever they want to do with it, that's cool with me."
On the fact they wear the shirts in the first place: "I think it's great. We have great fans here. I'm really kind of glad the students picked up on that."
On the whole phenomenon: "I really wasn't expecting anything from it, I just hadn't shaved in a couple days. They kind of went with it and rolled with it."
On the chance the 'stache is coming off: "I don't know, I'm kind of debating it. I'm just gonna see how it goes, see what it looks like in the next couple days. It's getting pretty rough."
On his responsibility as a mustache icon: "I would disappoint many people, but I don't know, it's just starting to grow over my lip and stuff like that. I'm trying to keep it trimmed, it's just getting so long. It doesn't get thick, it just keeps getting longer and longer."
