Keilani Makes OU Best Bet for National Title

Oklahoma would appear to be a good spot to at least play for the NCAA softball national championship.
The Sooners are one victory away from a spot in the national finals in Oklahoma City.
OU is riding the red-hot arm of Keilani Ricketts, who many consider the best player in the collegiate game.
Ricketts has not allowed an earned run in 40 straight innings.
There is nothing better than a pitcher on a roll in college softball.
Yes, one pitcher can not only get you to the national finals it can win an NCAA title.
Ricketts has been fabulous and the Sooners have perhaps the best 3-4-5 lineup in college softball. That gives OU an unmatched weapon on the mound to go with one of the most feared lineups in the sport.
As a result, OU goes into Sunday as a good bet to win again and gain a spot in the national finals series.
It is another indication of the excellence of the program under coach Patty Gasso.
Gasso, in her 18th season, is in the WCWS for a seventh time and is seeking a second national title.
The Sooners won the WCWS in 2000.
They once again appear to be the team to beat 12 years later.
