Landry Jones: Home vs. Road

Not trying to start anything here. Not trying to insinuate that Oklahoma will win, or that OU's home schedule stinks or that Landry Jones is great or terrible.

But these statistics -- we published them last week prior to OU's 41-13 meltdown in Lubbock -- are simply striking and bear repeating. OK, not repeating. Updating.

This is like comparing Dallas vs. KC at home and NE on the road. It's pretty obvious why he has been better at home.

Congratulations to OU. Job well done. Coach Gundy and the OSU offense were scared to death today and as an OSU fan I could not be more disappointed in an offensive team.

Once again the defense was victimized just like the Houston and Texas games.

A win is a win is a win.!!!

Based on your data...we would automatically loose the bowl game because it will be an away game! QB Jones came out of New Mexico?
Something tells me high scool football in that part of the world does not have the level of competition and pressure that he has to play within. (and it shows!)..

Here it is...plain and simple...he is a freshman. Playing in front of 60,000 - 90,000 fans is a little intimidating when you are on the road. I can see why thee is a difference in stats. Bradford, White, Heupel, etc. had bad 1st years with OU. Next year they go to Texas A&M, OSU, and Dallas (again). I am sure he will do better as he had a chance to learn this year. It will still be hard unless we get an O-line.
