Let's play three

What if Michigan and Ohio State staged a rematch in the national title game? If they split two meetings, how could you justify making either team national champ? Wouldn't you have to play a tiebreaker? It's a bad system when we have more questions than answers.
Ohio State would be justifiably upset if the Buckeyes lost to Michigan in a BCS bowl and the Wolverines were named national champions. Why should one meeting mean more than another if you play twice. If you have one loss each, and you beat each other, who deserves to be ranked No. 1?
The loser in all of this is, well, everybody.
Hopefully, enough of a stink will be raised that we can scrap the current system and launch a football Final Four.

Neutral ground.

Good point regarding neutral ground. But I think a neutral ground victory vs. a campus victory still would not settle the "who is better?" debate.

Jimmie, frankly, I don't want to see a rematch. I thought it was a great game, and in many ways I saw it as the semi-final round to the BCS championship game. I do wonder if the outcome may have been differently in Ann Arbor or neutral ground, but Michigan had its chance. Now we should let someone else go at it. I personally think it should be the winner of the SEC Championship game, if Florida and Arkansas go in with one-losss.

What I wonder about is what kind of team Ohio State will be in the nearly 50 days till they play again. That's just insane! Will they even know how to run a route? How do you prep a team like that over that time span? I think that goes against Ohio State.

Will someone please explain to me why the first response is put last and numbered three while the last post is put on top and numbered one?

If I was Ohio State, I wouldn't want to play a team I had already beaten.
