Masters Muni Course

CBS missed a lot of a pretty good golf tournament, the Masters.

It missed most of Anthony Kim's round of 65, the best of the tournament, picking the former OU golfer up deep into his second nine.
The cameras were more concerned with watching Couples straighten his hat.

The par 5's at Augusta are a joke. How many eagles were there, 50? A couple of the par 5's require a driver and a mid-iron. They can toughen up the 4's, the 3's are great, but the par 5's look like something you'd find at an average municipal course.

And what about Tiger?

He looked about the same, the second-best golfer of all time, with a chance to become the best, spraying drives, spewing profanities.

But no matter how many majors Tiger wins, his image seems forever changed. It was not case of a married man falling in love with another. His trouble was caused by some nasty serial misconduct with a whole host of off-color characters. It might always be Tiger wins, but.....

really cant stand the dude he is a word i cant say hope he never wins again its not even that he was a guy who thought he was living the fantasy its that he couldnt admit that the only regret was that he got caught

the CBS talking heads made such a big deal about K. J. Choi's unflappable demeanor and steady play that they shortchanged and nearly missed Anthony Kim's furious rally.

Picker's quotables:

"He (Tiger)...will be lucky to make the cut."

"All 11 double or nothing, says your man's man Tiger doesn't finish in the top five."

What did Tiger finish again, Pick? I believe he tied for 4th.

Whoops.
But What Do I Know? (3 years ago)
One heck of a golf game but no class. Let me clarify Pick, I'm talking about Tiger.

Gotta echo Mexi: Pick made and awful big deal about how horribly Tiger would play...oops.
leave the picker alone. he wasnt being serious. he and i both no no one truly cares about golf unless it involves tiger and he was just saying that to rile all of you up. no one cares about golf.

Hippy, that's exactly what happened. All they showed most of the day were replays of Kim's putts going in.

Storm, the best drive of the week was Elin driving to the airport.

The Par 5s need to be more challenging. I agree. The U.S. Open is a more challenging tournament.
