As the lights slowly come back on here in Norman, SI.com warms us all up with a college football playoff featuring 16 teams seeded according to their final BCS ranking. And look who's playing for the whole ball of (given what we've all been through this week) candle wax...

Bracket author Gennaro Filice doesn't pick a winner, but does offer a cute reason why the Sooners might gather some revenge for that 55-19 flogging of a few years ago:
"It's payback time. Ashlee Simpson may have been booed off the field following her '05 Orange Bowl halftime show, but even Simpson's humiliation paled in comparison to Oklahoma's. This debacle is still fresh in coach Bob Stoops' mind, and his team will be out for blood."
