Me Am Confused

Welcome to Bizarro World, where Baylor shares the lead in the Big 12 South, the Detroit Tigers are on the verge of going to the World Series and Mack Brown is suddenly the sensei among coaches in the OU-Texas series.
While living in a sports world turned upside down, here are a few things to think about:
1, The Detroit Tigers lost 119 games only three seasons ago. Baseball, just my opinion, is the easiest sport in which a team can go from worst to first. I don't have any stats to back that up. It's moreso a gut feeling.
2, In case you missed this news item, Brian White lost to the same college football team twice this season. White was a backup quarterback at Colorado when the Buffs were beaten by Montana State. White left Boulder and transferred to Portland State and gained instant eligibility. Portland State lost Saturday to Montana State. Maybe the guy has used up his quota of bad luck for the rest of his life.
3, When is a seven-overtime football game not exciting? When neither team can find the end zone. North Texas and Florida International went seven OTs and the final score was 25-22. Perhaps the coaching staffs at those schools should consider installing Yahoo mapquest in the helmets of their quarterbacks.
4, When have this many NFL teams been this bad at the same time? Ten teams have won one or zero games. The worst of them might be the Raiders. Remember when Randy Moss was relevant?
5, Is it blasphemy to suggest that the current Chicago Bears are better than the 1985 Chicago Bears? I have the question, but not the answer.
