The concealed weapon in this case being the elbow.

Old man Stern, the NBA commissioner, choked, giving the Laker bum Artest a light sentence, one of the penalty games being the last meaningless regular season contest.

Stern has been around long enough, get him out of here.

The Laker bum's real penalty will happen when next he visits OKC. The way the bracket is set up, the Lakers and OKC will meet in the second round of the division playoffs, with the Thunder having the home wood edge.

The National Guard might have to be called out.

For the simpler fans who care for nothing but college football, these notes.

The Oklahoma State quarterback situation seems much more concerning than first imagined. Weeden spoiled everybody beyond compare. All three of the new guys have odd throwing motions. Handing off all the time will handle Kansas. That's about it.

Stoops supports a four-team title playoff, nothing more, wishing to preserve the integrity of the meaningless bowls. He appears to believe than an extended playoff system would detract from the regular season.

Huh?

The pro regular season was intense last time we checked.

Hopefully, the fans in OKC will have more class than to dish out the same type of thug worthy behavior Ron Artest is so well known for.

Agree with you on Stern. Totally wimped out and said "only an elbow".
This was not an elbow after a rebound. This was an elbow intentionally thrown to hurt someone and not in the context of the game.

Same as having a car dealer elbow you in the head after a hard negotiation in which he got the sell. Yeah, ":wham".

The numbskulls who said it was all part of the game have been hit on the head too many times themselves.
