Mock bracketology

Oklahoma State is living on the edge.
Despite losing road games to Texas A&M and Colorado last week, OSU remained in the updated NCAA Tournament mock brackets of ESPN’s Joe Lunardi and Collegerpi.com’s Jerry Palm. But the Cowboys (13-4 overall, 1-2 in Big 12 games) are nowhere to be found on the mock bracket of SI.com’s Andy Glockner.
OSU seems to have little margin for error. Asked about the Cowboys' chances of reaching the tournament, senior forward Marshall Moses reminded reporters it’s early in the conference season. Then he said this: “People are going to talk and they are going to say whatever they want. You are on the bubble. You are in. You are out. That doesn’t matter.
“I started off way worse than this the last two years here and we made the tournament both years... We had great players and we started out, what, 2-6 in the league (two years ago)? You have just got to play ball and not worry about what people say because that’s how you get unfocused. You have just got to stay focused on the goal at hand.”
OSU’s next order of business is a home game against Iowa State. The Cyclones were picked to finish last in the Big 12, but they are 14-4 overall and 1-2 in league play, including a home victory over Baylor.
