Move it, ladies. We have an animal to feed.
Stephen Pingry/Tulsa World

You see things on this blog site that you will see nowhere else -- questions about the possible collapse of two OU athletic programs, for example.

1. What's up with the wrestling?

True, Oklahoma State invented wrestling. But didn't OU used to be better than fair?

2. The OU baseball program looks sick.

It hasn't been all that much in ages.

But this team just finished losing to some intramural clubs.

While on the subject of basketball, here are two stories that we can't get enough of:

The Duke and Texas Tech teams are being used to mop floors with.

If Bobby Knight is such a great coach, why hasn't he won anything in recent memory? Maybe he used to be a great coach. Maybe it's over.

Let's see those Cameron Cuties hopping up and down now.

Note to Sherri Coale: Put in some quicker scrubs. You're killing the OU homers on the radio who guaranteed a final four.

Let's add a little to that list: How the heck can OSU still be ranked when they continue tanking every away game?

Doesn't it kind of make a joke out of the ranking system?

NCAA allegations mounting. San Diego Chargers, loaded with talent, need a head coach. I'm not saying someone may be leaving the state...but one would really have to think on it if it were a possibility...

Good thoughts, both notes.
JJ: San Diego just got a lot better didn't it, firing that coach.
Bill: It is hard to believe OSU is/was still in the top 20. It's what everybody says -- once you're ranked, it's tough to fall too far. The pre-season polls really are the bane of all sports.
