More Tiger Please

No matter who is doing what, Tiger Woods is near the lead of every golf tournament story.

He's 12 shots off the lead, TV still finds him.

He misses the cut, he's interviewed.

It's doubtful the AP golf writer has ever written a story without mentioning the beloved Tiger.

Many people can't stand the over-fascination with this guy. Do stories about the leaders, they say. Talk about the top of the tournament scoreboard, not the bottom.

But we say the more Tiger the better. What could be more enjoyable than seeing an unpleasant person hook one into the trees, push one into the bushes, miss another four-footer. He became such a lousy person, a serial cheater on his wife, and he is still cussing and throwing clubs, what could be better than a close up of him nine off the lead, hacking one into the sand. Each tournament should have a Tiger-cam.

He's now just another rather average pro golfer and deserves to be seen as such.

Tiger is still a special player because of where he came from and where he went in such a short time. He had the trophy from all four majors on his mantle at the same time. Name all of golfers who have done that? And . . . he will remain so as long as you guys keep talking about him. And . . . you will.

"as you guys keep talking about him" - Rightfully so!

Couldn't agree more Mr. Picker.

Watching golf often puts me to sleep,
but when the cameras pick up on Tiger,
I'll raise up from my chair a little in anticipation.

Will he hook it? Will he curse, slam that club into the turf, or even better, hurl it at the fans?

Call me evil. But I've always enjoyed watching Tiger.
Especially now.

Yes it is unfortunate that he hasn't gained an ounce of humility since his downfall......that being said I hope he breaks every golf record there is.

He welcomes the competition.
