No cheap seats

The idea was tossed out earlier this week now that all the precast concrete for the seating bowl in the west end zone. Why not sell tickets and seat cushions for a reasonable rate ($20-25???) and have fans sit out there for the next few home games at Boone Pickens Stadium?

While it would generate some extra revenue, it's just not feasible. John Houck, OSU assistant vice president for construction management, said that liability issues prevent such an idea to get implemented for the remainder of this season.

Don't worry, those west end zone seats will be available starting next season. The worry for this current season still remains filling those seats on the north and south stands of the stadium.

Who "exactly" (names?) is worried about filling the stadium Matt? Inquiring minds want to know.

It isn't the price of the ticket at a minimum of $85 but the parking that keeps my group at home this season. The parking police are rude and there is nowhere to park. OSU needs to fix the parking problem or it will have a problem filling the stadium. I don't have the thousand it takes to park with the posse. I hope more of the OSU games are on TV! Go pokes.
