Just when you think it can't get any nuttier, you open the sports section and see this: The OU baseball team wearing black shirts!


Guess what, black isn't one of OU's primary colors. Black is one of Missouri's colors: black and gold.


Somebody said Nike sent the black shirts to OU. Figures. Money people call a lot of shots. But they don't get to change school colors! You think Missouri would wear pink shirts if Nike sent them?


Much pride goes with OU's crimson and cream. Black and white football uniforms? The thunder you hear is Mr. Bud Wilkinson's reaction.

Maybe OU is wearing black because they are in mourning...... because surely their coach is gonna get the ax!!!

I don' think Bud W would be too upset over black shirts. The colors OU wears now are Arkansas brought over literally by McKenzie when he came to OU. The beautiful and distinct dark red (maroon and creme) where different. Now we got Hog's uniforms with OU on them along with 1000 others.
