ORU Survives to Play Another Day
Published: 3/10/2008 9:20 PM

Oral Roberts did not play well enough to win for much of Monday's victory over IPFW in the Summit League Tournament.
The Golden Eagles did win but they played so poorly there is more than a little doubt about their chances in Tuesday's finals.
ORU was pushed to the brink by IPFW because it couldn't hit shots.
The Mastadons just weren't good enough to run away from the Eagles. A better team would have put ORU in such a hole that no comeback would have been possible.
The Eagles need someone other than Robert Jarvis to hit shots. They need to convert free throws.
ORU is good enough to be in the NCAA Tournament.
But the Golden Eagles will find themselves left out of the Big Dance if they don't step up on Tuesday night.
That's what ORU did the last two years. The Golden Eagles got a chance at March Madness and grabbed it.
An off night against IPFW will be long forgotten if ORU plays to its ability and wins on Tuesday.
Another sloppy night by the Eagles and they will be playing in the not invited tournament (NIT).

Survive and Advance, baby! Ugly win, buts it's a good thing no style points go into the final score. I'm expecting Moses to let the game come to him a little bit more today. They will be amped up and ready to play. DEFENSE!!!!!!!! Yemi and Sango will have to lock Hill up.
