ORU Woin't Surprise Anyone

Oral Roberts made the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year and for the second straight year rates as a huge underdog in the first round.
However, just like a year ago, the Golden Eagles are good enough to make folks believe they could pull one of the inevitable upsets in the first few days of the NCAAs.
As a result, ORU will not surprise Washington State.
The Cougars are likely to hear plenty of talk about being the victim of an early upset leading up to Thursday's game in Sacramento.
Caleb Green and Ken Tutt have gotten enough notoriety over the past few years that everyone knows about them and ORU.
That means Oral Roberts will most likely get the full attention of Washington State.
Upsets generally happen when teams overlook low seeds.
Tulsa has jumped on unssuspecting teams in the past. Most notable was the upset of fifth-seeded UCLA in Oklahoma City, just a few days after a UCLA player said he had no idea where Tulsa was located.
Don't expect Washington State to make the same mistake.
The Cougars continually have to fight for respect in the west where UCLA and Arizona grab much of the headlines in its league.
Even in their home state, the Coogs have to fight for attention with Gonzaga and Washington.
So, playing the no respect card, as underdogs love to do, probably won't work against the Cougars, who are fighting for their own respect.
Still, ORU is good enough to have a shot in this game regardless of the attitude Washington State brings to Sacramento.
