If they can do it at Kansas, they can do it anywhere.

It wasn't just beating Kansas that was so impressive for Oral Roberts on Wednesday night.
It was where the Golden Eagles did it and how they did it.
Winning on the road against the No. 3 team in the country, and without any kind of fluke at the end, makes for one of the most impressive victories in school history.
Many new folks to Tulsa will be shocked to know that before Tulsa, before Oklahoma State and before Oklahoma, ORU led the explosion of college basketball in our region.
Long before the Hurricane, Sooners, Cowboys and Razorbacks took it seriously, ORU was winning big time college basketball games.
In fact, the Golden Eagles reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Basketball Tournament 26 years before Tulsa.
But ORU had fallen on hard times. Then, nearly 10 years ago, it hired Bill Self to breath life back into the program.
He got it started and passed it off to Barry Hinson. Then, Scott Sutton took over.
Sutton had some missteps along the way. However, he's learned his lessons and brought ORU back to the college basketball limelight. A year ago, he had the Eagles back in the NCAA Tournament.
This year be brought ORU into the national spotlight by beating the No. 3 team in the land on its feared home court.
It was the kind of victory that will linger with fans all season.
Now, if the Eagles can follow it up with another statement victory, ORU could start getting the type of national attention it had in the 1970s.
Don't doubt. The Eagles, in comfortably handling the heat and pressure at Allen Fieldhouse, look very capable of some very big things this season.
