It's time for OSU to finish games that they lead by over 20 at the half. This comes down to believing you can beat the better team in the other locker room. OSU has pulled it off against OU because it wants to beat OU badly. It's time for the Pokes to resemble the college football powers (USC, Texas, LSU, Ohio St., Florida, Mich, OU, etc., etc.) by wanting to win every game badly when you step on the field...and then believe you can do it (this is the hard part).
Top to bottom, I'll disagree with your assumption that OSU has the same talent as Georgia. It's not a mismatch by any stretch of the imagination, and the gap is not that big, but Georgia is probably more talented as a whole. Your take is clear and accurate though...OSu must learn to beat the big boys consistently to take the next step.
It's not the best team that wins all the time (though most of the time)...it's the best team ON THAT DAY. The best horse in a race can run into traffic trouble or have an off day. Same with a football team in my opinion. The Pokes will have to play well and be coached well to win in Athens.
It's all baloney: Georgia used to be good. So it should be good now. Bull.
Georgia lost to Vanderbilt last year and was lucky to beat Colorado 14-13. The quarterback is an interception machine.
Hopefully the team is ready to end the same-old, same-old mentality.
