OSU sets a football season-ticket record

On Monday morning, the Oklahoma State ticket office hit a record for the number of football season tickets sold to the public.
The previous mark of 35,655 was set last season, as was the total record (public plus student) of 48,714. That record will likely be broken after classes begin next week, and the ticket office is hoping to meet its goal of 50,000 sold.
OSU also could surpass last year's record of 12,000 student tickets sold. The university is expected to have its largest freshman class and an all-time enrollment high.
