OSU signs the "other" Brad Garrett

OSU just signed a basketball player named Brad Garrett. Go ahead and start with the name jokes.
Brad Garrett is also the name of actor who plays the big brother character on "Everybody Loves Raymond." Someone asked if the Cowboys signed the actor. Come to think of it, that wouldn't be a bad idea considering that thespian Brad Garrett looks like he could be a post player. Hoopster Brad Garrett is a 3-point marksman. Will everybody love Brad?
Considering that Garrett is a big guard with Utah ties, expect him to be compared with former OSU guard Daniel Bobik.
--Incidentally, "Everybody Loves Raymond" was a sitcom about a sports writer (although he never left the house, which is sort of opposite of reality). Star Ray Romano also had a memorable guest stint on "Saturday Night Live" when he was an ESPN SportsCenter type anchor whose catch phrases included "Sweet Sassy Molassy." Indeed.
--I considered writing an opinion piece about a few private schools gaining entrance in the OSSAA, but I came up with more questions than I did answers and, in the end, would probably only make an argument that would reveal stupidity.
--ORU basketball Scott Sutton said he is often asked whether he would like to play a game or two against his brother, OSU coach Sean Sutton. Scott, while speaking at a Rotary Club of Tulsa meeting, said his parents likely would veto such a game. Plus, the brothers had to be separated on occasion when one-on-one childhood basketball games turned into mortal combat. Scott joked that he and Sean might get after each other on the sideline if their basketball teams faced each other. He doesn't want to make SportsCenter for all the wrong reasons.
FYI, Scott said he is bigger than Sean and can probably take him. But Scott also joked that Sean might pull a Mike Tyson and try to bite an ear.
