OSU won’t divulge details on pregame video

Last year, OSU’s pregame video featured a song – “Cowboys Forever” – that was written and performed by Stillwater’s John Martin, and the students just hated it.
H-a-t-e-d it.
Every time the song was played at Boone Pickens Stadium, the students responded with a chorus of boos. OSU officials were stung by the response.
The 2010 season begins on Saturday, and I have no idea what the pregame video might look and sound like. I’ve asked Mike Holder several times, and his response was a terse “no comment.”
Several seasons ago, the pregame video song was Aerosmith’s “Back in the Saddle.” It worked well. “Back in the Saddle” would make sense again this season and next season and beyond. It rocks effectively and has a cowboy theme.
