OSU's Continued Football Renaissance
Published: 6/22/2011 10:35 AM

Oklahoma State announced construction will soon begin on an indoor practice facility for football, a long-awaited project that will be the final piece in what has been a facilities renaissance for OSU football.
It wasn’t long ago that Oklahoma State had the worst football facilities in the old Big Eight and then in the new Big 12. As the Big 12 begins life as a 10-team league, OSU has one of the most deluxe stadiums and team homes in college football.
The new indoor practice facility with three new outdoor practice field will complete one of the most remarkable facility upgrades for any college football team - ever.
To go from the rusty old Lewis Field to Boone Pickens Stadium was a remarkable transformation.
Adding the practice fields and indoor facility will put OSU facilities on a par or above any other football program in the country.
That’s what money will do for you.
Now, OSU needs to keep winning and see what history and tradition can do for you.

I was always afraid that Lewis Field would fall apart since it was a big rust bucket. The toilets were totally disgusting.

Going to be a very nice facility, and on par with the rest of the so called Big 12. I don't think the combined facilities will be above any of the rest in the Country, though.
Money can buy everything but a winning tradition, conference championships and national championships........those need to be earned.
