O-State's MVP? It's a tie

Oklahoma State's most valuable player this season?

I see it as a tie between Dantrell Savage and Zac Robinson.

Each player is indispensable, and each should reach a personal milestone on Saturday at Baylor. In his penultimate regular-season game as a Cowboy, Savage needs 45 yards to reach 1,000 for the season. He'll get that in the first quarter.

Robinson needs 298 total yards (passing and rushing yards in combination) to break Josh Fields' 2002 single-season school record of 3,073. Considering that he didn't break into the starting lineup until Week 3, Robinson has had a remarkable season.

Savage could have a huge game on Saturday.

Baylor is 10th in the Big 12 against the rush, allowing 197.6 yards per game. OSU is the league leader in rushing (261.8 per game) and Savage is the individual leader (a 130.8-yard average in conference games).

Savage has seven consecutive 100-yard rushing performances.

My vote is for Savage. I agree that Robinson is great and i'm glad OSU will have the Zac Attack for two more years, but Savage makes things go. Even when they take him out to rest him the offense gets less productive.

I do think Zac will end up being the best QB at OSU ever. If it wasn't for Reesing, Harrell and Bradford (and maybe Daniel if he doesn't jump to the NFL) he'd have a solid chance at All Big 12 next year. But he's still my #2 right now.
