Whitney Hand and Danielle Robinson saved OU on a night Courtney Paris was no factor.
On a rare night, Paris was not the dominant player on the court but Georgia Tech, playing without its best player, was no match for Oklahoma.
As a result, the top-seeded Sooners get to play in Oklahoma City with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
That was in doubt for about a half, as Tech went to halftime tied.
But, in the second half, Tech was awful from the field, hitting just five of 29 shots (17 percent). That will usually get you beat bad. And, it did.
The Sooners must now play up to their ability. If so, the home town crowd should be enough to get them to St. Louis.
