Tulsa radio host Chris Plank has been selected for sideline reporting duties for Oklahoma football games, the Tulsa World has learned.
Oklahoma is expected to announce the hiring this morning.
Plank, 36, has been the host or co-host of the afternoon sports talk show at KTBZ (formerly KQLL) am1430 since 1997.
The native of Wood River, Ill., is a University of Tulsa graduate.
Plank, who did the sideline gig for the Sooner Network during the OU spring game in April, joins new play-by-play voice Toby Rowland, who this fall replaces longtime OU commentator Bob Barry.
