What, you thought we could go an entire week without another dose of conference realignment gossip? I can't believe we made it all the way to Tuesday.
Here's the latest, courtesy of Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist/Metroplex media magnate Randy Galloway:
"My favorite Armageddon scenario for the college landscape comes from a clued-in friend. He predicts this as a far-flung possibility:
"Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma to the SEC.
"Colorado and Utah to the Pac-10.
"Nebraska and Missouri to the Big Ten.
"What then does everyone else do? Try the new Mountain West Conference, which would look this:
"Mountain Division: Texas Tech, Boise State, TCU, Air Force, New Mexico, Colorado State.
"Pacific Division: Kansas, Kansas State, BYU, UNLV, San Diego State, Wyoming."
