Oklahomans feeling another (NBA) draft

Players with Oklahoma ties were getting their names called one after another in a historic first round of the 2010 NFL draft.

The first round of the 2010 NBA draft could be sort of a repeat.

In a mock draft unveiled by ESPN’s Chad Ford, five players with Oklahoma ties are pegged to go in the first round, including former Oklahoma high school standouts Epke Udoh (Edmond Santa Fe/Baylor), Xavier Henry (Putnam City/Kansas) and Daniel Orton (Bishop McGuinness/Kentucky.)

Also, Ford projects former Oklahoma State guard James Anderson to go in the middle of the first round and picks former University of Oklahoma guard Willie Warren to go at the end of the first round

Incidentally, Ford has Anderson going to the Chicago Bulls. That would likely be a dream come true for Anderson, who has long idolized Bulls icon Michael Jordan. Anderson wore jersey No. 23 in college, just like you know who.

If Willie the wimp goes in the first round, I'll quit watching the NBA....

If he goes late in the first round that means a playoff team lands him & if the front office of a playoff team believes #13 has NBA talent then I don't know a thing about basketball & why am I even watching it....

I would love to see James Anderson play for the Thunder his entire career. After some trades and a miracle or two it could happen...
