Pass the Caffene, It's Time For Softball

Talk about desperate for action, it's women's college softball or poker tournament reruns.


Women's softball needs a rules change. All you need is a great pitcher and a couple of bunters to rule supreme. A pitcher should be restricted in how many innings she can throw, like in pee wee league. Or let the hitters use an oar. It's getting to be too much like soccer, one-nil in extra frames.


Tennesee wins it all, Hawaii a long shot.


What's to like about the NBA besides the Pussycat Dolls singing Right Now!


Does OU athletic Joe have the guts to fire the baseball coach he hired?


Hurry football.

When I got home from work I turned on the TV, but there wasn't anything on. So I turned the TV off. Then I looked at a piece of cracker on the floor.

Bob -- yeah, this is pitiful. Nothing to do but read the funny pages. Like Tulsa bidding to host the Big 12 Hoop tournaments, the odds against being insurmountable.

Gotta agree on the "dead time" for sports...fast pitch softball is the reason for beer coolers.

Liked the Pussycat Dolls and gave me an idea...how about Janet Jackson for between innings in Norman this week?

Owasso: Somebody said the opening game attendence for the Big 12 tournament was about 9.



The NBA playoff ratings are worse than bad. The super-stars have no help.



Now that Tulsa has put in a bid for the Big12 basketball tournament, what's next, the Republican convention in 2012?
