Penn State Students Flunk Logic
Published: 11/10/2011 2:34 PM

Wasn't that special, the Penn State students rioting in support of child abuse and molestation.

Those fronting their tuitions should be proud.

Sure, ESPN did one of the things it does the most obviously, promote for gain, or attack savagely. True, Paterno was clocked before speaking. But what could he say that wasn't in the legal paper -- he thought a 50-year old man and a 9-year old boy were alone in a shower engaged in harmless horseplay?

Nice going students.

Each student rioting should be locked in Sandusky's basement for a night and see what happens.

Picker is 100% right on this one.

What could they be thinking?

We live in a information world and it is like they don't have the same information as the rest of us.

The police should have been out there last night handing out the grand jury's report to all the students. Maybe that would have got them to leave after reading that report.

"he thought a 50-year old man and a 9-year old boy were alone in a shower engaged in harmless horseplay?"

No, he didn't think. Truth is, old JoePa lost his cognitive reasoning skills years ago but PSU kept him around anyway. Would a younger, more rational head coach have responded differently? Maybe. Maybe not. Why is the former grad asst coach who witnessed this going to be on the sidelines Saturday?
