Picker Scores Again

Have you heard what the "experts" in Oklahoma City are thinking about the Thunder of the NBA?

They're saying that center Perkins is a burden.

Well, what do you know. We've been saying that for years, since the day he stepped on the court and almost knocked the square off the backboard with a shot.

They're saying Westbrook needs to stop shooting less than 40 percent from the field and throwing passes that wind up in the Toby Keith seats.

Why, we've been saying that for years, since one pass almost hit the scoreboard.

They're questioning the Thunder leadership.

Same as we have been doing for years. The boy-wonder GM has some stinkers on his file -- blowing the number one draft pick on the KU center who couldn't outrun many mascots, letting Harden get away, etc.

Having to take over the NBA beat from the nitwits is a small price to pay with so many lovely fans deserving to hear what's real.

Is your chest more sore from beating your chest than your back is from patting it? LOL.
All true, but yesterday you mock the Tulsa World for upplaying the TU football success and today you are bragging on the Pick. What's the difference?

Dementia is a scary thing. One of the first signs is repeating the same things verbatim over and over.

Picker has clearly developed the early stages of dementia.

He has 3 or 4 topics that he reports on, and it's the same points each time.

Get some new material Picker. Maybe it's time you fired yourself from blogging...

Out Pick The Picker

The Picker began entertaining – and infuriating – sports fans in 1993. Each week during football season, he writes about his picks of college and NFL games in his Thursday Sports column. He's never afraid of sharing his opinions about the game and the personalities who play it. Readers have a chance to go against him each season in the Outpick the Picker contest. He welcomes the competition.
