Players are to Blame, Too

For all of the talk about agents being pimps, and other name-calling by college coaches, the players should take some responsibility.
Players know what is right and wrong. Players know if some guy is handing you $10,000 in cash or a new car or buying a house for your parents, it is against the rules.
The players are not innocent in this debate. They are just as much to blame as the sleazy agents.
Yes, the agents are taking advantage of young athletes. But, you can't tell me that these players don't know the rules.
Reggie Bush didn't know it was wrong for some guy to give him and his family thousands of dollars?
Of course, he knew it was wrong. Dez Bryant may not have known if it was against NCAA rules or not to meet with a former pro football player. But, Oklahoma State had warned him on numerous occasions to not do it and he did it anyway.
In other words, the players have some responsibility in this mess, too.
There are plenty of NCAA rules that are complex. However, taking thousands of dollars or benefits from someone is pretty black and white.
Don't do it.

klein you are incorrect, Dez THOUGHT it was wrong or he would not have lied THREE time when questioned. A persons lies to cover themselves

PS How about a story on Dez wearing Nike after his contract with Under Armor, ANOTHER great Dez moment
