Polls Will Shake Out

No need to get too worked up over the national rankings.
Over the next month, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech will play a round robin. All three teams have one game at home and one on the road. Getting a road victory by one of these teams would probably put that team in a position to take the south diviision if Texas should stumble again.
Some would argue position in the polls is everything. Maybe.
But it will be more important to win games. If you can sweep two games against the other contenders, you will be in great shape.
Texas, even with its stumble, is still in good shape against OU and OSU. The Longhorns have the head-to-head tiebreaker.
But, Texas Tech has become the spoiler in all of this. The Red Raiders' miracle last-second victory over Texas puts them on top of the standings.
That's more important than any ranking system.

JK-47,
If the Red Raiders win out, will they overcome Alabama and Penn State if they do the same? In the BCS rankings, I mean. This is the problem that the polls can't shake out.

I think the Big 12 is goning to end up out of the championship game and maybe only 1 team in a BCS bowl.
