Poor Big 12

The "anything for money" angle just caught up with the Big 12.

The new game matching conference winners in the Big 12 and the SEC is not a game for conference winners. Can you imagine winning the SEC and not being in the final four? Same with the Big 12 -- the winner will be in the top 4 eight of ten times.

So the new game will usually match the SEC runnerup with the Big 12 runnerup.

That is if they can figure out who finishes second some years. If they can't easily determine who wins, imagine trying to sort out ties for second.

Getting back to the new game, how would you like to face the loser of the SEC title game?

This conference is so far superior at the top to the rest of the country, going up against the SEC runnerup will be pure torture.

The slogan should read: Anything but the SEC for money.

The Big 12 winner is apt to have it easier than the runnerup! Who wouldn't rather play a Big Ten or Pac Ten champ than the SEC second place team!

Shhhh. Lots of people don't want to hear the truth. They should make the game part of the playoffs, that would insure that the top team from each conference was in the game.

It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see the first 4 years of this new BcS “playoff” format is delegated or regulated to the Rose Bowl & SEC/Big 12 Chump winner. That would be allowed because they have been approved for an "and one game" addition. Any school/team outside these Big 4 conferences w/ the exception of Notre Dame will be outside looking in.

I am so sick of you constant negativity towards all sports teams in our area. You are a craven coward, as well as a slimeball. Go grawl back under your rock.

The SEC owns the Big 12.

Some facts hurt.

Picker, it could be worse. A Big 12 team (two to be exact) could JOIN the SEC and face an SEC team EVERY week.
