If you missed a sports talk radio show this week, here's what transpired.

"Line one, you're on the air. Who is this?

"The Greatest."

"Not me. You."

"Oh. This is OU Wise Guy."

"What's your question?"

"Where do you think we'll be rated in the nation two years after next?"

"We'll be No. 1 in the country, and Texas will be second. OU Scholar, you're on."

"How bad will we kill all the various Aggies?"

"We'll kill them bad. OU Forever, talk to me."

"What do you think about Tulsa's team this year?"

"Never heard of them. OU Princess, hello."

"What have you heard about recruiting?"

"It's actually going too good. We got two six-star guys out of the city of Austin, and one seven-star out of Stillwater. Objective OU Fan, what's on your mind?"

Be careful. Being this honest will not endear you to the various OKC and Tulsa sooner cheerleaders who populate the airwaves. Nor will it make you popular with the sooner fans that make the calls. Remember the Texas fan in OKC who had part of his anatomy loosened by one a sooner fan. A word to the wise …

AJ, it's not the Sooners, it's the groupies.

But no kidding, I heard one of them picking the Big 12 like the year after next!

It's like a soap on TV, you can go away three years and come back and they're still saying the same things.

Actually, it's great fun listening to some of them. Not informative in the least. But
entertaining in a wacky way.

Why doesn't the picker have a counterpart..a female picker! Chicks always get it RIGHT!!!
