Remember the Name Kendall Hunter

It is time Kendall Hunter starts getting some mention among the nation's best players.
In this era everything is about the quarterback. And, certainly, Oklahoma State's Zac Robinson is good.
But, Hunter may be the nation's best running back. He is certainly the top runner in the Big 12.
His 143.7 yards per game is top in the league and third in the nation. But, as his 154 yards against Missouri proved, OSU has the ability to run on just about everyone.
That's a wonderful luxury, especially for a spread offense team like OSU.
OSU's offensive line is much better than advertised. There's a reason the Cowboys can run the ball so well. Yes, Hunter is good. But so are the guys up front.
So, if you are looking for a running back that deserves some national attention, it is Hunter.
OSU's offense may be the most difficult in the nation to defend. Unlike many spread offenses, the Cowboys are a legitimate threat to hit you with a home run out of the backfield.
In an era of passing offenses gone wild, OSU is still able to run. It is time we start seeing Hunter mentioned with the nation's best offensive players.

I concur...the Cowboy's balanced attack, complimented by an improved & confident defense will keep them in a position to not only beat Texas, but run out their schedule for a Big 12 and possible NCAA Championship. What separates them from the rest of the pack is outstanding play from the special teams. Additionally, the coaches are putting together better game plans w/contingencies ready to adjust the strategies as required. Last, but not least, the quality of skilled depth on the Pokes roster will keep them fresh and ready to perform at high levels for all 4 quarters of play.

I like their chances, not only this year, but suspect they'll join the Sooners as a perennial top 10 team for many years to come.

I agree, your beloved Pokes look good.
