San Antonio Flounders

That basketball team flops around like a bunch of fish. Ginobili and Parker look like European soccer players.
As for the Thunder, fate has intervened: A reserve comes into the game and hits two three-pointers in the space of about a minute, both shot so accurate they barely rustled the net.
Durant hits one while appearing to wear a straight jacket.
Turnover machine Westbrook hits a key jump shot with less than two minutes remaining.
And the beard won the game with a three while being perfectly guarded.
It's as though the ball is being led into the basket by a powerful force: skill plus good luck plus hard work equals fate.
The final round game breakdown schedule is as follows: 2-3-2.
With one more win over the Flounder, the Thunder will have home wood advantage over either eastern team and appears capable of defeating both.
Would an Oklahoma City NBA title mean?
It would clearly be the greatest in-state sporting success ever, and the equal to an OU national championship in football.
That big.

they were like wet mops wiping the court clean
I would say the NBA needs a rule against the flop, but since the refs can't call most fouls correctly it doesn't matter.

Watching the series between OKC and SA...OKC is a rising team of fresh new talent, and SA seems to be a team at the end of their talent's careers.
Maybe that is why SA can "flop" so easily....their anticipating flopping into their retirements soon.
Go Thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't a world basketball championship be bigger than 7 national championships?

It wold be a lot bigger than 1 football chanpionship! And OKC will not go on probation after winning it like OU did after 6 of their championships!!!!

An NBA title would be EQUAL TO but NOT GREATER than OU winning a National Title.

The "world" basketball championship involves all USA teams. National collegiate football championship, NBA title, equally fantastic.
San Antonio should be renamed Flop City.

I had just told my wife that SAS were classier because they didn't flop around like the Lakers. Then, all of the sudden, they start looking like perch on the dock at Whitehorn Cove. Ginoboli's european influence obviously affects his style, but Parker? He is taking it to a new level by adding post-flop melodrama like grabbing various spots on his face and writhing in fake pain. Sadly, the officials can't seem to resist it and call phantom fouls on OKC. Since OKC doesn't flop, I'm assuming its an act of desperation reserved for old, tired teams that can't win any other way.

Westbrook a turnover machine? He is not even in the top 30 in the league for the playoffs or the regular season. Durant leads Westbrook and Durant isn't even the point guard. What team are you watching?

I wonder if they will ever change their name to simply the Oklahoma Thunder.

It's Oklahoma City's team. Period. All others move to the back of the bandwagon.
Tonight's Boston-Heat wave game is fascinating. Who would the Thunder rather play? Old Boston. It looks just like San Antonio. Yet Miami is a point and a half favorite at Boston!
The Thunder's final game victory over SA was amazing because SA played great. It couldn't play any better. Yet it got smoked.
Think the zebras are pondering a LeBron-Durant match-up?

Pick, an NBA title would be greater than an OU national title in football. Why? Because both OU and OSU football fans root for the Thunder.
