Surely someone among the national media is picking Oklahoma to win Jan. 8. I just haven't seen him/her yet.
Meantime, here are two more who have signed up for Florida...
Tim Sullivan of the New York Post: "Which team can get the other off the field enough? That's what it boils down to for us. We believe it's Florida, a defense with speed Oklahoma hasn't seen. A defense that has allowed 20 points or less in its last seven. A defense that allows just 174 yards through the air.
"Oklahoma will dent the Dolphin Stadium scoreboard, no doubt. The Sooners easily will surpass those Gator averages, for sure. But that's where Tim Tebow comes in."
Pat Forde of ESPN.com: "No way will the Sooners continue their streak of scoring 60 per game. The question is whether they can score half that while containing Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin and all the rest of Florida's speed. The answer: not quite... Florida 31, Oklahoma 28."
