Self Has One Thought - Win

Kansas coach Bill Self may be the subject of intense speculation but he said on Sunday he has only one thing on his mind and it is Monday's national championship game against Memphis.
Anyone that knows Self knows he isn't lying. There's nothing bigger or more important in his profession than winning a national championship.
It wouldn't matter if he was promised ownership of the state to move back to Oklahoma. Right now, Self's every moment is about Kansas basketball.
There are probably some that wondered if Nolan Richardson or Tubby Smith would win national championships after they left Tulsa.
Almost everyone, after Self resurrected Oral Roberts and took TU to new heights, was convinced Self would someday win it all.
Maybe it'll happen on Monday. Maybe not.
But we believe he'll win a national championship.
Where he wins that national title and for whom is a debate for another day.

John: It the rumored OSU offer for Self is true, it would be hard for Self or any other coach to not to have thoughts about the offer, since it is also his alma mater.. Think that Self will still put his best effort into coaching Kansas to a NC.

Doesn't matter how much $$$$ T Boner spends - - - Self ain't going to Stillwater. You cannot win national championships there but you can at Kansas.

I think that Bill Self would take the money in a New York minute, if, and it is a big if, he could be promised a National Championship with an OSU team in a few years. I guess the question is: Does Bill Self want the money or does winning National Championships mean more to him? Being an OSU fan I would like to see any coach take the Cowboys to a NC---
but, I am not sure that can happen.
