Sissy Option Is About Out of Lives

Perhaps you've heard the option is the hot item in the NFL.

It is. For losers.

The Giants knocked the option halfway back to the dark ages the other night, obliterating Carolina.

The option is run by people who can't throw. Period. Carolina quarterback Newton is an ESPN creation. His pals there love him. So do the Giants.

You can't run the option with regularity because linebackers weigh 275 and are faster than the quarterbacks.

The Redskin quarterback runs the option too much and is an injury waiting to happen.

Michael Vick hasn't ever lasted an entire season.

The worst thing to come from the Carolina-Giant mismatch, worse than the option, was when Carolina quarterback Newton did his Superman bit when trailing 23-7. What a self-centered also-ran. Mighty Mouse is more like it.
