Sooners Climbing Out of Big 12 Bottom

There were more than a few media folks that felt Oklahoma might not win a Big 12 Conference game.
Well, the Sooners aren’t contending to win the league, and they won’t be considered for the NCAA Tournament, but a victory over Colorado on Saturday was impressive.
It is impressive because the Buffs had been consistently decent in the last month.
Instead, Colorado now looks like Colorado usually does this time of the year - going nowhere.
And, the Sooners, after a 67-60 victory, have won two straight Big 12 games.
Cade Davis had 15 points and all five OU starters scored in double figures.
Oklahoma isn’t going to threaten Kansas at the top of the league. However, the Sooners no longer appear to be fighting with Texas Tech to see who can escape the cellar.

Right. The media wrote them off last week.

Wins against perennial nobodies are exactly what I would call crawling out of the depths. They're still terrible and not going anywhere fast.
